Under local, i forgot root vegetables such as carrots, daikon, turnips and also turnip greens, and squash of many kinds. My favorite is red cup. I also couldn't remember if you were strictly vegetarian, or vegetarian + fish. Vendors there also have cage-free eggs and fish galore. Recently, Luke from Ant Hill started baking and selling artisan breads, and i've helped bake four nights and sell three days so far.

Hey Tiff …sorry i missed this earlier. For some reason, Jaiku cannot text me, like Twitter can. Anyway, the Market has almost everything the supermarket gets from warmer climes, such as red bell peppers, oranges, strawberries, plus vegetables from within a day's drive, such as broccoli, rappini, asparagus, plus local produce, such as golden potatoes, onions, fancy cabbage, and Fuji apples from controlled atmosphere. For motivation, however, read Halweil's Eat Here.

In the Yellow Pages under Watch Repair, i noticed Jewelry Clinic in Mid-town Plaza and Doerrer Jewelers in the Temple Building. Otherwise except for simple battery and band replacements, little worth fixing gets fixed around here. Jewelers here tend to send their watches to New York and then play middlemen.

    Welcome to Jaiku, Tiffany!

Since you keep several blogs and photostreams, i thought you'd find it useful. Because Jaiku is Finnish, i figure more Europeans would come to use it, in addition to the usual San Francisco digerati. Since you know (met) Chicken John, other Burning Man and nutty artsfolk, i figure you probably know many more here, at Twitter, Vox, and at other sites i use too.

You might also find Claim ID useful and helpful, to distinguish others with your name from yourself, to consolidate your identity, and influence Google pageranking. I find it my most helpful site. I'll send you an invitation. :-)

Okay, i don't understand the big whoop on Pownce—besides being a Web 2.0 insider and a leader in using Adobe Apollo (AIR). Multiply can send media and documents with finer grain privacy plus through additional degrees of separation. Scribd uses Macromedia Flashpaper to display many kinds of documents and media. It can even lock the originals and display only via Flashpaper, and can track views and display metrics.

Anyway, thank you for the invitation —R!

Hi Elsie, welcome to Jaiku! You probably already know classmates and others here. Like 30 Boxes and Tumblr, Jaiku can aggregate your feeds into one for others to discover and also channel them into text notifications and messaging a la Twitter. Have fun! By the way, to where are you moving and working?

Yea, i use Twitter and 30 Boxes in combo too. Unlike 30 Boxes and Tumblr though, Jaiku allows comments on the aggregated feed (which is not necessarily good). Tumblr not only aggregates, but can also originate, mash and reblog other content. I'm looking at Ziki and found your profile there. Ziki seems oriented toward promotion and publicity, while Tumblr emphasizes simplicity, and like 30 Boxes, orients toward friends.

Welcome Svetlana! I hope you find Jaiku (and Tumblr) useful for aggregating all your posts scattered over the Web.
